Alana

Alana discovered a future in medicine would be the perfect fit for her nearly 20 years ago (and she still loves phlebotomy and helping others). Growing up in Osceola, she spent a lot of time outside playing in her neighborhood’s wooded areas and creek with her friends (and grew to love the smell of the lilacs nearby). Now, she still enjoys spending time outside gardening, taking long walks, and canning. Alana loves watching her sons grow into young adults and looks forward to the next stages of life with them (hopefully visiting Jamaica, one of their favorite places). She finds motivation in accomplishing tasks and checking them off her to-do list (a perfect quality for a Lab Coordinator to have).
